Links & Such

The following are just a few sites that I find interesting/helpful/educational/informative/[insert positive adjective that could apply to a web site here].

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to advertise for my dad, who just so happens to be the author of a fantastic (I'm not being biased, promise) mystery novel set in the 1930's. He is published on Amazon and also has a Kindle version of his book because he's technologically inclined, unlike his daughter. Feel free to check it out . . . .

And while I'm advertising books anyhow, I may as well include the link to my own novel, "Mightier than the Sword" which is about an enchanted pen that possesses the power to make readers believe anything that it writes.

JANUARY 24TH ADDITIONS:

This is a great site to stream live Spanish news and TV. I typically watch the news, although I did watch one episode of one of their historical dramas, Isabel which is based on the reign of Queen Isabel, the woman who sent Columbus across the ocean blue in fourteen hundred ninety-two (you know the rhyme).

Also, for some Spanish radio, whether you like music, news, or sports, this site gives myriad options for no matter what you're in the mood for. Highly recommended, although be aware that not all the links work all th e time. Usually it's pretty reliable though.

FEBRUARY 12TH ADDITIONS:

Amazing a capella group brought to my attention through a Facebook friend. Really worth the listen.

And if you feel like watching some Spanish TV for free, I've attached the link below to a prominent online Spanish TV source with lots of their most popular sitcoms. No downloads or account sign ups or anything required. Feel free to peruse along the top menu of the page, although this specific link will take you to the hugely successful historical drama, "Isabel" that I'm 4 episodes into at the moment.
